Lazy H Farms is an organic, family-owned farm and gardens located outside of Mount Vernon in Skagit County Washington. Focused on sustainable practices, we grow organic produce, berries, apples, herbs, lavender, flowers and more! The farm is home to a happy family of animals. Come say hello to our mini pigs, alpacas, hens, ducks and barn kitties. The farm is also host to an array of wildlife including: Great Blue Heron, eagles, owls, and deer. We are located minutes from I-5 and less than two hours from Seattle and Vancouver, Canada. Mount Baker National Forest and North Cascade National Park are both a short drive away. Additionally Lazy H Farms is only a few miles from the coast and there is lots to see and do in Skagit County! THINGS TO DO NEARBY- Right across HWY 9 there are water activities at Big Lake, hiking and gorgeous views at Little Mountain, and swimming at Clear Lake. There are plenty of local trails nearby to explore. In downtown Mount Vernon you can walk the outdoor promenade along the Skagit River, get takeout from local restaurants and coffee shops, or visit unique downtown shops. Please note this is a working farm with working dogs protecting our livestock 24/7 and you may hear a few barks upon your arrival. Please send us a message if you have any questions!

Pondside at When Pigs Fly Farm
Great spot!
What a great spot! The site is on Amanda & Nathans's amazing farm, and they did a great job designing the area. There's a bathroom, a shower, and a bridge that crosses the creek over to where the field of farm animals is. Very enjoyable!

Hidden Meadow
Lucky me!
I've stayed at many Hipcamps and this is a stellar camp! Beautiful, thoughtful and oh so clean cedar outhouse and shower. On-demand hot water. The site was incredible. Horses, alpacas, privacy and open space. Clean, clean, clean. Clear interest in Covid safety. I forgot my tarp and one was generously loaned to me. Eggs and wood I purchased were beautifully placed at our site. A short drive from Seattle to a heavenly experience.

Hidden Meadow
We had a great time staying here with our three-year-old grandchild. It was the perfect place for him to be delighted by the alpacas, listening to the frogs and pretend to fish in the pond. The hosts were very accommodating and the place was lovely

Amazing Experience!
It was an amazing experience; the hidden meadows was really hidden and gave us the privacy from the other sites. Overall, very clean site and a good experience

The site was great, really enjoy the outdoor bathroom and shower. I was under the impression that there was "communal" wood for the fire pit, as I had read on the description but then had to pay for it on site. Other than that, great experience

Pondside at When Pigs Fly Farm
Absolutely gorgeous little spot! The pond side site seems to be the most picturesque, but is also the least secluded. Great fire pit. The most beautiful outhouse I’ve ever seen. The berries we purchased were absolutely delicious and our daughter enjoyed meeting the chickens and alpacas. The only thing I would change is the lights on the restroom/shower building are way too bright and kept on all night. It was like having a spotlight on our tent and we eventually had to get up in the early morning hours and unplug them in order to get some sleep. I think most campers expect to have to use a flashlight when going to the restroom after dark, so these aren’t needed. Or they could just be like the small lights used on the bridge. But overall, it was a very nice farm and we would definitely stay again.
